Ackroyd Lowrie make two significant strategic hires to the Senior Leadership team to accelerate their next stage of growth

Natalie Rea and Cathy Liang have joined this month as part of the Ackroyd Lowrie Senior Management Board. Natalie will Head up the Operational arm of the business along with leading the Marketing department and Cathy Liang has been appointed as Finance Manager.

Natalie Rea has spent over 20 years in the media, publishing and marketing world re-shaping businesses and teams to accelerate growth.  Having worked for and with some of the largest publishers and agencies in the UK, Natalie’s experience is in developing, restructuring, and empowering teams for optimal performance, implementing new processes and systems to drive the strategic direction and crafting successful marketing plans enhancing business development.

Cathy joined Ackroyd Lowrie in November 2020, bringing more than 15 years’ experience in a variety of senior finance roles for high-profile companies within the build environment industry in both China and the UK, including Zaha Hadid Architects and HASSELL.  Cathy is passionate about building a smart finance function and working closely with the senior management team to develop and implement growth strategies. 

The practice has recently completed the Alva Coachworks a 50,000sqft photography studio near Kings Cross and is currently delivering a number of projects on site across the UK.  

Ackroyd Lowrie are an innovative architectural practice committed to delivering high quality, bespoke spaces for their clients.  Their studio is known for design excellence and their focus on effective delivery for their clients using cutting edge VR technology throughout the design process. Ackroyd Lowrie are currently working on a wide range of projects in the UK across the residential and commercial sector. 

Last year was significant for Ackroyd Lowrie, as it was record breaking year for revenue. We have an ambitious plan for the next five years to grow the business to a 50 person team and Natalie and Cathy will give us the operational structure to support that growth. We have spent some considerable time looking for the next members of our board and we feel very fortunate to have Natalie and Cathy joining us to help us deliver on our vision of continuing to be on the cutting edge of designing the cities of the future.
