Nicholas “Freddy” Friedrichs

Architectural Technician

Nicholas, although better known as Freddy, obtained his Bachelors Degree in Architectural Technology at the Durban University of Technology in 2015 and then went on to work for 6 years in South Africa as registered Senior Architectural Technologist.

During this time, he spent a portion of his career freelancing for Sphere Design and Architecture and DEM Architects. Prior to that, he worked for Arkus Architectural Practice and Leigh Bishop Architects where he gained experience in Commercial, Industrial and Residential architecture.

Freddy relocated from his hometown of Durban, South Africa to London in order to get international experience and broaden his technical detailing skill set. Ultimately, he wants to have a successful Architectural career in the United Kingdom and has had to adapt to the different construction methods and standards applicable to his new environment.

Outside of Architecture, he tries to stay active and healthy by playing golf, running and occasionally engaging in various racket sports. His other interests include watching football, listening to Podcasts and keeping up with any new technology being released.
