Seacole Court

Project: Seacole Court

Location: Red Post Hill, Dulwich

Client: KMP

Status: Completed

The brief

The brief for Seacole Court and Cavell Court was to create high-quality, long-term, private rented accommodation that is functional and sustainable.

Our approach

Our approach was to maximise daylight and views out with generous windows, then use combinations of textures to make simple and breath-taking spaces.

Our design

Both Seacole Court and Cavell Court use a restrained palette of modern brickwork and zinc cladding on the exterior, with a natural palette of timber and stone on the interiors. Floor-to-ceiling glazing in all units allows generous daylight, which brings the materials to life and gives incredible views out into the surrounding vegetation.

Both schemes are highly insulated and use extensive Renewable Energy sources to provide a highly sustainable development. Solar Photovoltaic on the roofs is complimented by MVHR heating and ventilation strategies to avoid the need for gas on either site.

The result

Seacole Court, and its neighbour, Cavell Court, were both completed at the end of 2022 and are fully let.
