Phena MacNamara

Head of Technical

Having studied in Queens University, Belfast and Edinburgh College of Art, Phena’s education spanned both the technical and artistic aspects of Architecture. Over her time in Edinburgh, she worked at jmarchitects, specialising in Healthcare and Education sectors. She gained extensive on-site experience with new build and refurbishment projects. Moving to London in 2015, Phena changed sectors to focus on new build Residential while working at Pollard Thomas Edwards.

Phena’s strength lies in technical delivery of projects, project management and team leadership. She enjoys working with the client and design team to deliver beautifully detailed and coordinated buildings - on programme and budget.

As a registered BREEAM Advisory Professional (Design & Site) sustainability is a key design factor for her.  She can advise design teams on practical applications of BREEAM to ensure target ratings are met.

Phena enjoys her morning walks to work along Regent’s canal and evening swims in London Fields Lido.
