Clodagh Simons

Part Two Architectural Assistant

Clodagh completed her Masters at Westminster University with a distinction; her thesis looked at the regeneration of Catford Town Centre. The project focused on celebrating Catford’s existing context and rich history while providing a new hub for its rich creative community. The project required looking at urban planning strategies, community research, and the relocation of transport systems to provide a more sustainable and engaging town centre.

Before Ackroyd Lowrie, Clodagh worked on high-end residential projects focusing on Passivhaus and EnerPHit. Gaining an early understanding of sustainable design principles has inspired an interest in designing for the future, both socially and environmentally. As a Part II architectural assistant, Clodagh enjoys working on creative projects, as well as engaging with the practice’s work towards net zero.

In her free time, Clodagh enjoys going on walks, visiting coffee shops and spending time with friends.
