Residential Regeneration In West Norwood

A residential regeneration scheme we designed for HGS Property Group has recently been submitted for planning. The proposal seeks to re-use a vacant site at Curnick’s Lane in West Norwood, and create nine new apartments in a striking courtyard arrangement with secure gated entrance.

Taking inspiration from the site’s industrial heritage including its early use as a stonemason’s workshop, our design features a brick and stone material palette alongside large, full height crittal windows and black aluminium detailing to maintain a rhythm along the façade. Each apartment has either a private garden or balcony, and the scheme is designed as car free as it is well-connected to public transport. Bike storage for up to 20 bicycles is also included. We anticipate a decision in November.
