Marty McColl

Senior Architect

Marty is an ARB and RIBA registered Architect with over 12 years post-Part III experience who is deeply committed to good design, and has a broad ranging experience across most aspects of the construction industry. With his passion for innovative use of materials and exploration of the possibilities within contemporary design, Marty tries at all times to find the best architectural solutions that result in practical, well resolved and beautiful buildings.

Throughout his career Marty has worked at several award winning practices, leading on projects ranging from £500,000 to £40 million in a broad range of sectors including cultural, residential, retail and education. As well as running his own practice he was a designer and self-builder on several small low energy and projects, worked as a Volunteer Architect building schools in Malawi and has recently completed a masters course in Sustainable Technologies and Low Energy Architecture.

Marty has particular experience in high end and luxury residential projects in the London market and is hugely knowledgable about the materials and various techniques and crafts that are brought together to create beautiful and well detailed architecture and interiors.

Marty obtained his degree and diploma from Plymouth School of Architecture and spent a year studying at the Ecole de Beaux Artes in Paris. He is fluent in French and has worked on several projects in Paris.
