Alex gained his qualifications at the University of Portsmouth and his Part 2 at Cardiff University where his thesis research focused on the lost value of craftsmanship in East London’s craft saturated society. He is currently studying his RIBA Part 3 Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice at Westminster University.
Before joining Ackroyd Lowrie he spent 3 years at London based practice LOM architecture and design, working on a range of commercial projects from office fit-outs to new multi-million pound mixed use schemes. Alex also has experience in the residential sector where he has worked on both feasibility, planning and technical packages for private one-off houses and larger residential developments.
Alex is an avid outdoorsman and in his free time is often windsurfing, climbing or competing in triathlons.
